    You have to be registered to view it. But you really should be registered at subfighter anyways.

    In the first fight you will see me throw Chris Brennan with a nice hip throw and remain standing. Hindsight says that this was a bad idea. As you will see from the video.

    IMHO there are times for both types of throws. But a good throw will usually stun your opponent for a moment. If this were 'the real', I would use that moment to make my escape. If this were 'the personal', I would try to apply my foot to their face or follow the throw to the ground where I would punish them.

    Some do, some don't. There is no one proper breakfall. There are several ways to breakfall depending on the direction and type of throw.

    if you get up again (unhurt) after falling, the breakfall was correct

    In the picture 5, I saw people break their arm like that, don't do it, if the throw is strong enough you will get hurt, proper breakfall skills are essencial.

    I have found Puter Kapala and Puter Bahu effective

    In my experience I have tied up with opponents and following a strike such as knee to gut I wrench them with the puter kapala (Turning head throw) and each time I am left on my feet or in a kneeling position where I apply strikes or submissions. I have also had a good degree of success with the puter bahu (turning shoulder throw)...let me explain this one: My opponent has launched a left straight punch, I zone to the outside of his arm patting his punch with my left hand and hammering him with my right..I immediately and simultaneously grab his right shoulder with my left hand and his left shoulder area with my right hand..twisting his body counter-clockwise pressuring him over my right leg to the ground. I keep my body tight to his so that he has nothing to grab on to. I find myself every time standing over the fallen opponent delivering punishing strikes or stomps or looking for an opportunity to submit him with a choke, arm bar, etc.

    I generally despise alot of the fantasiful stuff passed off in Silat , but these two tactics have worked very well for me in real-time and against real resistance. Experiment with themand see for yourself if it is for you.

    Neither of these throws resemble ippon seoi nage or koshi garuma, I apologize for my poor explaination.

    I think this is kind of a pointless discussion. Of course some people have succeeded in throwing a fully resisting opponent without falling down themselves. Watch enough footage of judo tournaments and you'll eventually see ippons.
