    Granted that those "throws" are atrocious, I would heavily suggest that they figure out how to throw correctly. The first one they try, that bastardised version of the outside trip (ouchi gari?) is dangerous to do with your foot planted in the ground like that. When I didnt know how to execute this throw very well, thats how I partially tore my ACL- you plant your foot and all that you need is someone who counters the throw by doing it back on you- with your foot planted in the ground, its likely to catch and put alot of pressure on you knee, as happened to me.
