I've been gong sau'd by Ninjas... again...

I was on another board where I made fun of ninjas and the likes. Now there is a ninja who wants to not spar me but "fight" me as he says.

Alright my senpai wishes that I fight you.

But it will not be sparring and a real fight, as we do not spar.

He's in San Diego, and I am in Fresno. That's at least a 5 hour drive at a good pace. Now in the past, all the Ninjas who have Gong Sau'd me, either 1.) Aren't really ninjas but rather, japophiles who think they are ninjas. or 2.) They chicken **** their way out of things or don't show up. 3.) They are too teh de4dly to spar. (this one too, but apparently I have dishonored his honor and he's tool cool to sepukku).

So here's the thing. I've wanted to spar a ninja for a while. But they always pull this **** on me. So I don't know if I should go gong sau with him or not. San Diego is a damn long far away and I don't want to go there only for it not to exist.

I don't know what to do, on one hand, I can go take the honor of a ninja, on the other, I can be duped and there is no show up of the ninja. According to him, he's "Gozan Tengu Ryu Saito Ninjitsu". Anybody know anything about them?

My Concerns:

- I read about the thread where the Ninja guy got pissed and stabbed the dude. That's not what I want happening.
- He wants to fight this with no "pads" or anything. I am going to bring some gloves, because I like my knuckles not broken. He means this to be a real gong sau.

From that point on it's a lot of me explaining what certain things are, clavicle, fish hook, etc. So at the current moment he seems pretty sincere. He's about the same size as me so there's not going to be any sort of advantage. his 5'7" 148lbs to my 5'8" 145lbs.

Anyway, what are your guy's thoughts on this? What should I do? I don't mind fighting the guy. It's not a big deal if I win or lose. It's gong sau'd. I just don't need to waste 5 hours of driving and then nothing ends up happening or these guys are actually freaks and kill me or something.

You really ought to get away from beating on puny, weak peeps ... there's just no future in it ... unless to paint them up real good with SuperGlue and hurl them at slow moving trains.

Also, I'm taking medication now, and I should be alright for this. Atenolol if anybody cares to know. I've been on some cardio and stuff and it seems to be alright. I'm pretty sure I'll be okay. I'm in the process of talking to my doctor to see if this can be done. I have a month anyhow.
