Look, it's the same signature and chop on all the fake looking certificates. That chop looks like one of the ones you can buy online for like 10 bucks. I cannot fathom why all these phonys all join the same bogus organizations. I guess most people don't realize how fake those things look. One of Konigun's main students, Tracy Stephens was bragging how he was inducted into the Black Belt Hall of Fame. I didn't realize it was the fake, online organization.

It's not even a "chop". The kind of chop that goes on a certificate is supposed to have either the name of the person signing the certificate or the name or symbol of the organization issueing the certificate. His chop says simply: "Martial Arts Grandmaster".

It doesn't even say that really. It's more generic. It's not a title. It's like. . . ."A really famous Kung Fu teacher!" or I dunno. Anyways, it's like the kind of thing you see in advertisements or that the MC at a show would use to introduce someone.

...apparently come from the same printer. Since they're the same fonts. And same wording. From two separate institutions. Whats more, the Kingdom Harvest Bible College doesn't offer degrees in Practical Theology, much less Doctorates in anything (http://www.khbcs.edu/v1/college_degrees.htm). And the American College of Martial Science is now defunct and probably was a BS institute anyway.

And I don't get the idea behind having certificates showing that some Portland, OR-based school certifies that this dude is a 9th degree black belt. Aren't there scrolls or some **** for that stuff? Like, in Japanese or something?

For a real Japanese koryu art a 9th dan would recieve his certification in Japanese including a seal, stamp or signature of whoever issued it (the headmaster of the art).

I approve of this bump. Its not often that you get a bump that offers such comedic (and pathetic) entertainment.
