    Hell yeah! Hell no!

My little wrestler takes 2nd place in Iowa tournament!

One of my little wrestlers, Alex, went to a youth wrestling tournament in Sioux City Iowa last week and took 2nd place! He was the youngest and smallest kid there and was able to score 3 wins (2 pins and 1 on points) to secure second place!

    That's right. Don't **** with my kids!

Alex is the one on top in these pics (not from the tournament).
    Carry on, little dude! :eusa_danc :icon_thum :hello2:

And lo, Kano looked down upon the field and saw the multitudes. Amongst them were the disciples of Uesheba who were greatly vexed at his sayings. And Kano spake: "Do not be concerned with the mote in thy neighbor's eye, when verily thou hast a massive stick in thine ass".

My youngest is 3.5, the oldest is 7. Gotta be 5 to do tournaments, and Alex just had his birthday. Some of the kids at the tournament train 90 minutes a day, 3X a week. I find that to be asinine at this age and bad for the kids. My kids go 45 minutes once a week.

I am also not a huge fan of competing in combat sports this young, but Alex is very well adjusted and has a good support system in his father, so I think he will be fine. The biggest deciding factor is that Alex WANTS to compete. If I thought for one second he ws being made to compete, I would kick his dad's ass myself.

Some of my kids should probably NEVER compete. I jusdge on an individual basis.

I'd be happy for him... if it wasn't that it's in Iowa. I mean, there are only like 3 other people living there.
