    Well, in BJJ you have to train hard for about a decade, while sustaining various combat related injuries, and kick the **** out of blackbelts on a regular basis.

    I trained with Dicker for a (very) short time about 16 or so years ago.
    The classes were Lau Gar & Kickboxing.
    The Lau Gar side of it was focused on the points competition circuit which they did quite well at.
    The Kickboxing I remember as a standard KB class, lots of padwork & sparring.
    He always seemed like a good bloke to me, but he was a 'Character' & liked to add a few theatrics when his teams were competing.

    I notice on the instructor/blackbelt link it's got 'Ronnie Green' on it, back in the day he did allright at some new fangled never gonna last MA called Muay Thai.

    um is it me, or did that photo of dicker in his gi look a lot like he used a photoshop to put the degrees on his belt??

    those things are extra bright and way too straight in comaparison to the belt and the rest of the photo

    I doubt whether it would be particularly hard for him to add yellow stripes to his real belt if he chose to, rather than use photoshop.
