Takanori Gomi ( Japan ) vs. Hayato “Mach” Sakurai ( Japan )
Gomi by KO. He's unstoppable.
Dan Henderson ( USA ) vs. Murilo Bustamante ( Brazil )
Bustamante by sub. If he can survive Rampage, he should be able to take Henderon.
Hidehiko Yoshida ( Japan ) vs. Naoya Ogawa ( Japan )
Yoshida by decision. Could be interesting iif they both wore their gis.
Makoto Takimoto ( Japan ) vs. Sanae Kikuta ( Japan )
No idea who these two are.
Kazuhiro Nakamura ( Japan ) vs. Yuki Kondo ( Japan )
A long boring decision.
Arona vs. Silva
Aronda by LnP decision.
Fedor vs. Zuluzhino
Fedor by TKO
Hunt vs. Cro cop
CroCop by decision.I pointed at him [the panhandler], bringing my rear hand up in a subtle approximation of the double Wu Sau guard that is the default hand position in Wing Chun Kung Fu.
"Step away," I hissed.

There's no way Cro Cop will knock out hunt if he couldn't knock him out when they fought in K-1 with them banging on each other constantly. Hunt has a head made of reinforced titanium. I can actually see Hunt pulling this one out since Cro Cop fought just 60 days ago. I think Cro Cop is fighting too much and he's overtraining. His conditioning has been getting gradually worse in each progressive fight. Hunt has had a nice break. I think Hunt will be able to change his strategy from the first time they fought and really take it to Cro Cop and start throwing hand combinations that will win him the decision. I say Hunt by decision. Either way it goes though this will be a war.

****, the NYE show is shaping up to be a fucking cracker!
I know what I will be doing here. Hey, I'm in Japan, I have no friends... I'm watching this on TV!
Arona Silva 2 should be awesome... Silva needs to not take a step back and come out swinging, like he didn't do last time. I don't see any other way to beat him... sprawl and brawl.
Fedor will beat zulu, although he did look pretty quick against Sentoryu. I think maybe by submission or GnP stoppage.
Takanori Gomi ( Japan ) vs. Hayato “Mach” Sakurai ( Japan )
Gomi will take it - Mach is good, and looked incredible in the bushido tourney opener (have any of you guys seen that yet?) but I think Gomi's youth and drive will win over Mach's rejuvenated style.
Dan Henderson ( USA ) vs. Murilo Bustamante ( Brazil )
I think henderson should beat Bustamente, or 'Normal Looking Accountant Bloke' as I like to call him.
Hidehiko Yoshida ( Japan ) vs. Naoya Ogawa ( Japan )
Wake me up when it's over.
Makoto Takimoto ( Japan ) vs. Sanae Kikuta ( Japan )
Takimoto is Yoshida's chum, another snorefest featuring two judo masters, mma newbs.
Kazuhiro Nakamura ( Japan ) vs. Yuki Kondo ( Japan )
Yup, a long boring decision. Although I think Kondo has better hands and a chance to KO nakamura. Nakamura will probably do a nice judo throw or two but he will lose.
Hunt vs. Cro cop
Hunt by Decision. Hunt just can't be knocked out, and I think ground-wise there's not much in it... Hopefully a war. but I agree with loredon - CroCop is going to burn himself out. I remember and interview n 2004 after he lost to Randleman and fought a bunch of people to claw his way back to contender status. He said - ive been training and fighting way too much this year. Next year will be easier... well, it wasn't... CroCop needs a break before his next fight.
Should be freakin great...

For some reason I think it would be awesome if Ogawa and Yoshida fought wearing their gis.

Kikuta is the founder of GRABAKA, one of Japan's most respected MMA teams. He's also been fighting MMA pretty consistently from 1996 to 2004, though he was sidelined by an injury (a knee injury if I remember correctly).

BTW, here's some comments from some of the fighters: http://www.pridefc.com/pride2004/new..._05_1209_b.htm
From above link, Cro Cop on Hunt: "I'm sure you still remember what it felt like when my left high-kick hit your neck. That won't be my only weapon this time, though. Merry Christmas." -
