    Okay. Thanks guys. I guess there are just too many unaccountable factors, this makes sense. I just thought that, you know, because they can say...person doing sprints at x heart rate for x amount of time, who has y bodyfat will burn (roughly) x amount of calories. But I guess the fact that another person is involved in randori changes things too often (differing resistance etc.).

    I think I'll just asume it's somewhere between 600-1000, depending on the day and go with that.

    I would only make that assumption if you're doing at least half an hour of sparring or energetic drills. Otherwise, I'd err on the side of conservative.

    Yes, that's what I'm thinking. A slow class would obviously be far less. I was only thinking about sparring here.
