Lymph Nodes

I can feel about two lymph nodes around my neck quite easily; which I've been able to do for maybe years. Another one by my jaw easily as well. About two more around my neck and bottom of jaw if I actually try and "dig" deeper into my skin. Basically, are you supposed to be able to feel them? I originally thought that if you were able to feel them, it meant they were too big; and thus enlarged.

A few more questions. Do you think a lymph node on my neck that is 2 centimeters too big? Its been around that size for probably years now. Might just be me, but I'm really paranoid, and I keep thinking that its getting bigger..

Lastly, what would happen if someone squeezed a lymph node, as if he/she was trying to pop a pimple? I would assume it would be bad, but any details? For instance, what if somehow you got hit directly on one, and it popped.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I already did. He said it was nothing. However, I just find it strange, since most sources online make this stuff sound much more serious.

You doctor cleared up your questions. If you don't trust him, ask a second doctor's opinion on the matter. If you don't trust him/her, then I suggest some form of faith healing, magick, homeopathy, Feng Shui, tin foil pyramidal hats, or pinching your enlarged lymph node like a zit.
