Stick to what you do know, jacking off to porn on the internet and eating spam, leave the real martial arts to the men kid.
Okay wise guy, who made you the authority on martial arts? Look, JKD is all about adapting your style to the martial artist. Anyway, I'm trying my best to improve my overall MA skills studying my problem areas and don't have to waste time worrying about this petty kind of bickering. Go home to Mommy if you want to make kiddie arguments because I won't stand for it. Spam doesn't taste so good anyway, ate it a few times when I was a kid. I've got alot of research to do anyway too. The point I was making is that there is a difference between the Concepts crowd and the Original JKD crowd about which is closer to the real JKD. Concepts incorporates more Filipino arts, like kali, with the addition of things like Silat (mostly Indonesian), but with the basic JKD structure defined. There are so many elements because the Concepts stuff is continuously evolving and even has aspects of BJJ I've seen Inosanto do with everything together. The Original crowd sticks to more of the older principles without adding so many FMA and seem to preserve more than evolve the principles to suit the modern adapter. I think it's been said that the Original crowd says JKD is finite and not infinite, as some people think, but it's just comparing apples and oranges, and not much more than that, so it's hard to say who's better.

Yeah Omega needs to do it at least once every other day or else he loses a bit of his magical MA Kung Fu fightin' prowess.

The thing is these are the guys trying to standardize JKD which would be hypocritical. :beatdead:

If you want to listen to these Nazis go ahead but doesn't say much for your charachter to be tied down to power hungry anal retentive fucks. Most JKD guys that I've talked to Poteet, Inasanto, Hartsell all approach it the exact same way "I do what I do". And I believe that's what the main jist is. To follow is to be a sheep, are you a sheep?

In JJunkies defense, where did he say that they were standardizing it? If they were all there giving their thoughts on practical techniques or theories that someone could perhaps use, is that so wrong? Just because we don't want to as Lee would say make a crystalization of the "way" doesn't mean that we can't even dare to share concepts and ideas that we may find useful.

Same mantra I've heard. Preserve shouldn't enter the equation. That is one of the biggest arguments against TMA. Honestly, it goes against every thing Bruce Lee was teaching.
