    Ab workout

    I need a better ab workout, right now I am doing leg lifts, 6 second crunches, weighted crunches, janda sit-ups, reverse crunches, oblique weighted crunches, oblique six second crunches, bent knee hip-raise, butt-ups, air bike. By my logic if I don't feel the burn the next day, I didn't work hard enough, even though after the workout I can barely move because it tires me out so much. What can I do to attain this feeling? Help me o' great ones.

    You could also hang yourself off a sturdy chin up bar. But make sure it's sturdy man (not a door mounted one or a cheap roman chair)

    I thought he meant has his muscles become inverted yet because of his RIDICULOUSLY LENGTHY AB ROUTINE THAT HE WANTS TO IMPROVE.

    Work on core strengthing exercises, progressive resistance is also needed. One can use a stabilizer ball with Plates or Db's while doing a variety of exercises. The big three will also help increase core strength. Wood chops with cables... etc. Don't just do endless exercises. You're not going to be sore after everyday of lifting, it's not a sign of progress either. Size and strength increases are the sole determinant of progress and good workouts.

    Well now, that's a bit extreme. Not having perfect abs needn't be the end of the world.

    I'd suggest counselling or anti-depressants first, before taking such final measures. Although using the chin up bar would be quite ironic.

    Well now, that's a bit extreme. Not having perfect abs needn't be the end of the world.

    I'd suggest counselling or anti-depressants first, before taking such final measures. Although using the chin up bar would be quite ironic.

    Anti-depressants are for pregnant women and little girls. Counselling is what you do so you don't get locked up. I say it's death or abs!
