Shooters... If you had only one

Sceanario:

Stuck in a place where the world is about to take a serious **** on your face, and you are equipped with a rifle, sidearm, and knife. What would it be?

My rifle: Bushmaster AR15 shortie, my variant that I have now, ACOG sites, with quick release, EOTECH site for CQB, CrimsonTrace Laser Grip, Beta Mag, and alot of ammo and clips

My sidearm: This was a tough one, because I really wanted something that was light, and had stopping power. It was a toss up between my Ed Brown Kobra Karry .45 and my FN FiveSeveN. The FiveSeveN won out, but only with the armor piercing rounds equipped with my surefire light and laser combo.

My knife: Standard KaBar.

Post them up, only one rule. You must have fired this weapon, know it's pros and cons. Saying you'd carry a Barret .50 and not knowing it weights 80lbs is a no no.

I'd like to substitue a tricked out 12 gauge Remmington for my rifle, my kind aren't exactly renouned as sharp shooters. Pistol grip, folded stock, shortened barrel, you get the picture.

Pistol: Walther PP with silencer. I will not be engaging anyone at range if I can help it, and if I'm going to be close to the representatives of the country that is crapping on me I'd rather have the ability to kill a few as quietly as possible.

Knife: a sharp pointy one.

So sue me I haven't fired many guns: some shotguns, an SKS, some 22 rifles and pistols, magnum revolvers, and the Walther PP my uncle brought back from WWII (don't even know if that thing would support the qiet option).

Rifle: I wish I had shot my Mauser Mod 98, but I haven't yet, even though it is bolt action, it's such a good feeling weapon. So, I am going to go with an SKS. I think I would need an assault rifle in the hostile situation, I've fired an AK-47 before, but I actually prefer the SKS.

Sidearm: 1911 Springfield Armory .45 ACP with a matte black or blued finish.

Knife: KaBar (modified slightly with the top side of the end of the blade sharpened as well, for easier insertion.

Rifle: M-14
Side: Glock .40 cal
Knife: A good tactical folder

I have an SKS I love the way it shoots. I think the M14 is a better compromise between Close quarter and long range.

The M1 Garand because I'm an historian of sorts.

And my other weapon of choice I think it was called the 12 gauge Maverick.

Under Anthony's ruleset:
Rifle: M-16. Only beacuse i've never fired an M4 Carbine.
Sidearm: S&W .40 semi-auto. (Handguns not-so-common in Canada)
Knife: Wakazashi. (Hey, if Phrost can have a Machete...)

Fantasy collection:
Rifle: Calico M960. with a few 100 round clips. Or said M4 with an M203 grenade launcher.
Sidearm: HK SOCOM mk 23 w/ Suppressor. Or a Colt Python .44 for extra messy
Knife: Rambo (first blood) survival knife. Or a lightsaber. (hello, fantasy collection)

Rifle: Springfield Armory SOCOM II: Ol' reliable.

Sidearm: Beretta 93 R Full Auto. Good for CQC.

Knife: Becker CM-BK6 Patrol Machete: General utility

Rifle: M1A Accurate, good stopping power,and unlike plastic rifles it won't break when used as a club.

Pistol: .357 Ladysmith No mags to worry about and it points perfectly for me.

Knife: trusty KaBar
