ps. that was a joke, intended to be humorous. That is, a light remark meant to be frivolous and amusing.

But seriously, I have long thought, except for a few micro brews, the countries Canada, Mexico, Germany, Japan, Philippines, China (tsingtao), Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Brussels, and probably every other country on Earth (other than France, those cheese eating surrender monkeys couldn't make beer to save their hides) makes better beer than the good old USA.

I'll be on Oahu on the 28th, so if you want to come down to Kalihi, birthplace of Kempo, Kajukenpo, American Kempo in it's many forms, the home of the legendary fighters and teachers Prof. Chow and the renowned Mitose, and the location of the head dojo of Wado-Ryu's Japan International Karate Center and want to mix it up, yours truly, PFL will be there (look for the only white guy in the building, or the only guy gasping for
breath, saying I've had enough!).

Pat,
Don't confuse the mega-brews with the real local products. The best beer-making countries are definitely the United Kingdom, Germany, maybe Czech, and definitely the United States...

However, now that I think about it...I'm guilty of the reverse: comparing American micro-brews with Canadian industrial beers. So maybe we should all reserve judgement.

But I still think you've been in Utah too long.
