I like a lot of classical and baroque period music. I think my all-time favourite song is probably Tomaso Albinoni's Adagio.

It's what I usually listen to, it help to soothe my savage mind.

And oh yeah, I play the bass.
One of my best friends is a solid bass player. He plays jazz on Cruise ships for a living.
Do you play the upright or just the regular guitar, Mantis?

I've played both, I have a bass guitar. The best thing about a standup is the portability of it, playing outside with a bunch of people jamming away is a good time. It's been years. I played in a hardcore punk band at one time. Not quite classical, but classic none the less.

Rondo a la turca by Mozart.

And lo, Kano looked down upon the field and saw the multitudes. Amongst them were the disciples of Uesheba who were greatly vexed at his sayings. And Kano spake: "Do not be concerned with the mote in thy neighbor's eye, when verily thou hast a massive stick in thine ass".

I really like most of Prokofiev's work, dance of the knights from romeo and juliet is my favourite classical piece - awesome and ripped off by so many people!

    I play drums and percussion.

Bartok - i'd never heard of him until my friend mentioned him recently. I can imagine that Bartok would be pretty full-on as my friend is a huge theory head who loves complex stuff.

oh and Samuel Barber - adagio for strings!

Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade is the greatest piece of music ever! IMHO.

I play the harp. Want to make something of it?

Reminds me of the time I saw a chick pulling a harp down the sidewalk one night. I yelled out the car window "Hey lady! Nice Harp!" She yell'd back "Thanks!" :surprised

    Exciting life I know :eusa_shif
