I was thinking about doing those sit-ups that Whiteshark mentioned ages ago, you hook your feet on to something, then, because you are pulling up with yout calves, you eliminate the hip flexors and isolate the abs.

Some of my favorites, some already mentioned but some not yet:
Weighted Roman Chair situps
Saxon side bends (hold dumbbell over your head, do side bends that way)
Leg raises with dumbbell between your feet
Using a sledgehammer on a big tire and trying to make it not bounce back after impact

Don't have a chair,
Saxon side bends (hold dumbbell over your head, do side bends that way)
I am Lusitanian, not Saxon.
Leg raises with dumbbell between your feet
That, my friend, is a hip workout more than an ab workout.
Using a sledgehammer on a big tire and trying to make it not bounce back after impact
I am NOT dropping a sledge hammer on my gut.
V-Ups
Up yours too !!
