Sign of higher Metabolism?

I really picked a bad week to post this topic what with that Urine post that was started. Either way I thought I'd ask it. As I've increased the amount of water, and the amount of meals I eat I have been having to take more pit stops them I'm used to. Does a higher metabolism cause you to go to the restroom more often? It sounds logical to a certain degree: Eat more often, Drink more often, go poop'ems more often.

That doesn't mean higher metabolism, just that your tank is getting full more often because you are eating more.

... Why didn't I think of that? Isn't the point of having 6 meals a day and drinking more water a day to lower the portion quantity of your meals? I'm relatively new to this whole diet thing so I'm not sure if I'm making a mistake or doing the right thing.
