    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    OWWW my goddamn back!

So I come out of the gym and stretch back as I'm walking out.

    :wtfgif9fr OW **** JESUS CHRIST :wtfgif9fr

I thought someone had knifed me in the lower back. I nearly fell over from the sudden pain. Strangely, it was gone as quickly as it came.

I also get lower back pains when standing around for a long time.

Oh, what to do, what to do? :icon_conf

Stretches help a lot. Do any of those? Also, are you unevenly inactive on your off days? Meaning on days you don't go to the gym, you pretty much sit and do nothing, and then when you go you train like an animal. That usually fucks my back up, as I learned the hard way.

Assuming you're weight training, are you maintaining proper form? Lifting improperly will **** your back.

I have no idea how to go about stretches, so no...and yeah, I'm pretty uneven about it, but nowadays I excercise on the off days on the bicycle.

I used to have a personal trainer, so I know how to keep form.

**** dude, I have exactly the same problem as you wataru.

Last year while I was doing a sprint in track, my back just got hit with a searing pain, like someone stuck a rusty knife and lodged it through my lower back bones - you get the point. From then on, the pain goes and disappears for about eight months now...

And from time to time when I dont do anything the pain disappears and doesnt come back after workouts. But after some workouts it just comes back in form of a 'tender' inflexible back.

I don't know how stretches would explain this, its way too long term for me. But I do know I hardly stretch my lower back, and I don't know any stretches for it either.

Sometimes I get a stabbing pain in my back, then it feels like there are gnomes sawing my spinal column in half. There's some loss of sensation and sometimes complete paralysis in my legs...But I just wait for it to go away and then post here about it because you guys are all Doctors, right?

Seriously, though. Don't you think this is a "doctor worthy" issue? Don't gamble with your spine like that. if there's a problem that serious, why do you expect us to have the answer?

Sounds like you have a pinched nerve that may get aggrivated when you are dehydrated.
