Have any of you ever made a flow chart? And if so have you found it to be useful? I have started working on some and have found that it helps me get my brain in the line of thinking two to three steps ahead. Because not only are you doing these moves but you are writing them down and making an imprint on your brain as to what move comes next.
The problem is that you create an artificial reaction that is independent of the actual flow of reality.
It's quick and easy... useful for performing demonstrations and sets, but a handicap for open sparring. Don't get me started on how bad preset reactions can be for an actual fight.
