I don't have an MP3 player, I just put up with all the awful "MOORTAL KOOMBAAT!" type dance music being played by the cardio kickboxing class. For a short time they used to play some pretty decent break beat stuff, but lately they've reverted to the old "Dance Party mix 4!!" and Basement Jax

for training, i use the cheapest mp3 player i could find - but id recommend scouting around to find one that supports multiple formats, especialy ogg vorbis (.ogg) as you can get smaller files with awesome sound etc.

check out http://www.gizmodo.com and look at their portable media player section, they do good reviews, and post about new and upcomming tech

Phrost you might also try to find a forum or site that is dedicated to your particular mp3 player... someone may have a spare or two or at least know how to get one...

I despise all music when I'm training. When relaxing or dancing I like my wife's 20 gig ipod.

ipod shuffle. it hangs on a lanyard under my tshirt or rashguard; some good headphones keep me oblivious of all outside sounds.

Speaking of which, I can't stand Hummers, and when I saw that H3, I thought it was some fake after market mod. What a piece of crap! One time I saw a Hummer (not that H2/H3 fake crap) painted olive drab, and I thought it was some wannabe military guys, then when I pulled up next to it, there were four Air Force guys headed to Nellis. I had to laugh because I was so used to seeing soccer moms and wannabe outdoorsman driving them.

Apparently Rio doesn't offer support or replacement parts for older players. Ugh.
