    MP3 Player Thread

To be honest, I started this thread to find out if anyone knew where to get replacement accessories for a Rio Sonic Blue MP3 player that I've lost the armband for and can't seem to find anywhere. It's absolutely essential for me since the music at my gym sucks ass of the Kelly Clarkson and Nelly variety.

Otherwise, what MP3 players do you use?

    Creative MuVo N200 1Gb. I like it.

It came with an armband I never use.

I bought it just before this came out. If I ever break my creative, I'd get it.

    I work for Creative Labs.

Though even before that I bought their players; I work the bag with a Muvo TX FM 256 meg on my hip. Have to feed the headphones up through my shirt to keep the wires from getting caught in a hand or something, but it works out well.

I absolutly loathe the stuff that usually gets played at my gym.

From my cursory search for MP3 players it seems there are very few that are for people who listen to music while running and don't have a pocket to jam it in. Seriously, I don't get why people would use one for anything else, unless they ride public transportation or are listening to audio books on the way to work.

But anyway, nobody knows where to get replacement parts? Not only did I lose the armband after 2 years, but I recently managed to break the clip off the holder as well.

If they have a customer service line, call them up and see if they can't scrounge up the part. It'll probably cost you like $5, but I'm willing to bet the only place you'll find that part is directly through them; that's the case with CL products.

Like a copuple other's here, I use a creative, though its an archaic MuVo NX, only 256 MB, which is still enough for a workout/run, but a bitch to change if I want to keep my music in rotation.

I dont have any armband for mine, and a lanyard a) looks **** and b) still gets in my way, so I invest in a pair of shorts with a pocket, stick it in there, get my headphones with an extra long cable and clip on earpieces (Some funky Sony one ) and I just go from there. But otherwise:

    Or make it yourself. :P

I used to use an iPod Shuffle, but since my B-Day I've fallen prey to market hype. Here's my current Mp3 Player:

I also use Right Guard Extreme, drink a Xyience shake before working out, drive a Hummer H2, Watch MTV and MTV2 exclusively, and eat at McDonalds 2-3 times a day.
