As per the website, there doesn't seem to be any obvious Bullshit.
I understand what you are saying Ronin, but isn't the fact that he offers a link to Ashida Kim's site enough to call Bullshido?

He has no connection to Hsu Zong Qi and his Xing Yi.

My good friend Bill has been exposed to it and when he saw the shitty little clips that he posted a while back he was laughed at by him and others.

The wait will be long and he will not do anything.

    Coward.
Well, I haven't seen his xingyi, and honestly, I wouldn't have the experience to judge it, but I haven't heard of him in regards to Shen Lung, which is the flavor of xingyi I study. That doesn't mean a whole lot, but I am a little surprised by him not mentioning his teacher or association. Most CMA folks are quite open about their lineage.

Edit - Some time next week, while he's in town, I'll meet Dale Shigenaga. I'll make certain to ask about this gentleman.

    The dickens, you say: http://www.shenlungyi.com/distance_learning.html

Always a bit shady, IMO and, combined with other issues, it doesn't bode well.

Couple of quick points ... fear DOES NOT = arrogance.

Whether it is "necessary" to prove oneself is irrelevant.

Some peeps ... like me for instance ... are by bent of nature arrogant assholes. It's how I was born as nothing in the "nurture" environment ever introduced, much less re-enforced, arrogance. I'm simply wired that way.

Some peeps ... like me for instance ... like and enjoy combat ... it's where I live so to speak. Regardless of medium, setting or environment ... I like to fight. Why? I have no fucking idea ... it's just my nature and I come to it honestly.

This shitrat has front-loaded an "out" with regard to "show up and put up or STFU." He'll repeatedly claim that he has no "need" to prove himself, hence, all challenges are moot.

It's a closed loop tactic that doesn't hold water. He lacks any track record indicative of being capable in a martial sense so he does not qualify as being honestly entitled to such a position.

The only folks who can truly assume such a position have proved ... repeatedly ... that they are very much real. IME, the vast majority of them will take anyone on with no hesitation and create yet another convert - believer.

The only way a person can "come to believe & no longer feel compelled to prove" is by doing it ... repeatedly. Therefore, unless this shitrat can produce a verifiable record of having "walked the walk" he has no business talking the talk.

What he posits ... and is his out ... is the functional equivalent of mental masturbation. It might feel good ... but there is no orgasm.

Funny that he mentions he can "teach" self defense techniques. How would one do that if one does not have to prove through the physical medium anything?

If these clowns have no fear then why train at all?

Its BS, and he is a clown.

He will not step up as he knows his total lack of skills will be shown to all. His inablity to escape wet toilet paper would do wonders for his online mental maturbation, I mean online gung fu training.

Have to wait and see what the little stick does.
