Yes, his site does NOT mention any instructors, but it also doesn't say HE is the instructor.
Sure he uses the "sifu" title, but does he say sifu of what ?

Let me set the record straight on the whole "Sifu" thing from a pure TCMA perspective. NO one "takes" the title "Sifu" ... it is given and it MUST be given by the Sifu or Si-Gung of the Tudai being so elevated.

Contrary to the western corporate culture distortion of the term "Sifu" ... it is NOT some CEO like analog. IMO & IME, it's not a "gift" to be sought or even desired. It is a total and complete fucking pain in the ass, comes with tons of responsibility but no pay check. Often times I wish I would have just stayed out in the cold free to do as I please w/out a bunch of fucking interference from being bound to my Oath.

Ian should have a picture of him preforming Bai Shi before his Sifu and his Sifu's Spri visible in the photo. Ian should also have a Spri and the poem denotes the system in which he is formally recognized as a Sifu.
