Racism is just another word for hate.
It applies to ALL people, regardless of ethnic background.
Certain terms should NEVER be said, yet, some will even wear tham as a "badge of honour".
This helps no one or any cause.
Tolerance and accepteance are the hardest lessons to learn, and the greatest ones worth learning. -

Well, I am not going to tolerate or accept anyone who says that my wife, daughters or grandchild should be exterminated. Ronin, I doubt you would either.
If certains descripters are to be no longer used, they should be unnacceptable to be used by ANYBODY, even then I have some problems with "word police" . Essentially in our country free speech is the rule unless for example one yells fire in a movie theater. What is offensive to one person is not offensive to another and so you either ban all descriptors or allow them. -

Free speach is very important.
Its through free speach that we see what is really in peoples hearts and minds.
There may will be a time when all can live in harmony, but that hasn't happened till now, and I doubt it will happen anytime soon.
Assholes like this guy in the first post are NOT the cause of disharmony, no, WE are the cause.
Bigots and such are the byproduct of hate and ignorance.
Now, someone can very well say how they will do this and that, and that people shoudl do this and that.
And they should have the right to say these things.
Free speach is just that.
BUT, anyone buying into this crap and hatred and acting on it should be prosecuted tot he full extend of the law.
To use one of our unealable ( sp?) rights to promote violence and hatred is wrong, BUT to act on it is criminal. -

I dont agree. its the non action that occurs when things like this are said that fosters disharmony. Where was the censoring or outrage. What fallout did he recieve. Very little. In fact he got applause for thespeech. A more appropriate response for the audience would have been throw their **** at him untill he got off the stage. Where were the Jesse Jackson' and his flock. Or how about the NAACP. If you want to work for peace , both sides have to work for it and I dont see it happening.Assholes like this guy in the first post are NOT the cause of disharmony, no, WE are the cause.
I didnt and I doubt you did anything to make this man say this so I dont buy into accepting blame idea. -
