There is talk on CNN about 'intelligent design' getting in with politicians (working for the religious vote) and trying to push science out of science classes. It was brought up that there should be a national debate on the issue for intelligent design vs. Evolution as well as fighting the issue all the way up to the Supreme Court if necessary.
I think it would be a good idea to have this debate because a creationist cannot beat a scientist on the debate of evolution and maybe it would stomp out the issue all together and give a little education to those who don't understand evolution theory. -
