Style: Muay Thai/Judo--
Based on my personal experience, Aikido is a good art, and kudos if you've managed to find a good (read: alive) school. They're rare as hen's teeth AFAIK.
It is also related to a bizarre philosophy which has opened it up to be associated to any number of pursuits unrelated to fighting, eg golf. Its underlying philosophy goes against its very existence.
It's now rotten to the core. -

That may in fact include the worst example of a kote gaeshi performed by a practitioner above the rank of 6th kyu I have ever personally witnessed. I am truely suprised that someone doing the throw in that manner has the hand eye coordination required to put on a hakama.
