I'm 34, and when I'm clean shaven I still sometimes get carded for beer.

One day fill in teaching in a highschool, in one class after the usual whispering amongst themselves they asked 'did you finish year 12 last year?' which is impossible, the very next class it was 'are you, like, 38?' the point of this? People have no damn idea as to age sometimes!.

I can't imagine a world without drive through bottleshops. It must be truly awful.

Count me in as another member of the "still gets ID'd" club. I'm 25 and the only place I don't get asked for ID is the bottleshop down the road that I always go to.

I'm 23 and I still get carded for everything, and by everything I mean they ask to see my ID for rated R movies. >_<

I look at it this way, if I look half my age now, maybe i'll look 20 at 40, which wouldn't be so bad.

As for fixing the baby face thing- well there's the getting punched in the face a lot, that should help. Then there's how my hair will be white by the time I'm like 27. Men in my family get the white hair fast.

What's wrong with that? We have a bunch here in Kentucky, too.

I rarely get carded for alcohol. I think part of that is the alcohol that I buy. Usually it is either craft beer or good liquor. Also, facial hair seems to do it, and I am completely clean-shaven MAYBE once or twice every two years. Otherwise I always have a goatee or a beard.

I guess I should mention that I just turned 22 last June. And that I am 100x more likely to be found at a pub-style bar than a "club", so that is probably a mitigating factor as well.

My wife's 33 and still gets carded at the bar. Her mom's pushing 70 and looks like she's barely in her 50's.

I wouldn't complain about it if I were you, just get a better perspective on the situation.

No doubt -- wait until you're in your late 20's / early 30's and NOT getting carded --- you'll miss those days. :)
