The cop was at a distance.
What is that kid going to do?
Throw the sword at the cop?
I understand the copster protecting his ass, but still.

Don't mess with ninjas. They can throw swords in a perfectly straight line, like a javelin, even if the sword is curved, and it'll travel faster than a bullet and pierce the cops heart.

You don't know the power of ninjas, man. You just don't. I'd say that cop should be in therapy now for what might have happened to him and his family if that ninja had been real. You just don't go and confront ninjas, man. Especially with a gun. Didn't you see that one ninja get surrounded by a whole squad of cops. They had to shoot him so many times, and he even took down like half their men, and he had no where to hide or escape. And in the end, he just possessed some hawt chick's body and went and had sex in it, then dressed her up in really sexy ninja garb and killed more police officers.

My suggestion to that police department is that that they convince city council to redistribute current bureau funding and start investing in some pirates or, if they have more money to spare, robot zombies. Those are the only two effective counters that I know of to the current ninja epidemic that's overtaking our great nation's soil.

You were there? Tell us all about it. That's not mentioned in the article.

Maybe. Might just lunge and thrust it at him. Might just swing it at his head. Might have a pistol in his hand when he turns around. The cop in question obviously thought there was a threat. You're focused on the sword, but if the guy's out running around in a ninja costume with what looks like a sword, he might be some goofy kid or he might be some nut who's planning to kill somebody. He could have any weapon you can think of. Most officers are trained to realize that just about anybody can be carrying just about any weapon and just about anybody can have bad intentions. They don't remember that 100% of the time, but this guy apparently applied the principle this time.

I understand the copster protecting his ass, but still.
With all due respect, that is both grammatically and cognitively painful to me. If you understand it, why are you complaining about it and implying that he shouldn't do it?

    Why?
Because like any other red blooded American I don't like cops.
    Are you a cop? :5bullwhip

Actually, bro, I'm a red blood American, and I like cops. Corrupt cops I don't like, asshole cops, I don't like, but the majority are good people doing a hard job and getting little thanks for it.

Don't be stupid. Don't be a troll. Get a grip.

Your Taekwondo is probably inferior to mine anyway.

You know what's messed up? This is LITERALLY right across the street from me and I missed it. I saw somebody in a costume the other night promoting the store, but it wasn't a ninja getup.
