You have your own individual or shared room that you can lock with a key and share all the other dependencies like the bathroom or kitchen. There's a catering that offers both dinner and supper, and there's a cleaning service as well, so you don't have to take care of anything at all, but you get all the cool things of living at an appartment. However, I had a few problems, because the appartment where I lived at wasn't very well placed (there are a few appartments scattered around BCN), the cleaning service wasn't very good, and the catering SUCKED. But that was my own experience.

Other options would be a shared normal appartment (people who can't afford a residence go this route) or a normal residence. Most residence have strict time schedules though, and they'll lock you out if you're late. And most people end up looking for shared appartments because they end fed up with the residence rules.

I believe ESADE has information abouth foreign student accomodation. Maybe you can ask them and they'll be able to answer you with something a bit more useful (I'm living alone right now, so I don't really know about current residence options).
Thanks for the advice. I've asked the school and they do have a list of accomodations - but the list is huge. I was hoping for a good recommendation so I can take the easy way out. Hehe

Anyway, I would love to meet up when I'm there (we can do a karate vs kendo duel to the death*). I'll drop you a PM so we can keep in touch if you don't mind.

    * This reminds me of a story my Sensei told us once. Back when he was an Uchi-Deshi in Japan, they cross-trained every once in awhile. He was learning Kendo and he was getting his ass kicked majorly. So he asked for permission to use his bare hands. His opponent agreed and they fought man vs shinai.

According to my Sensei, "It's no use punching the body armour." Hahaha. Well, in the end, he won with one of them frontal swinging back fists to the back of the head (where the head guard apparently doesn't cover). Oh and also with a gazillion bruises on his forearms from blocking the shinai.

I'm relating it as he told us.

I'm surprised he didn't catch the shinai and break it with a knife-hand like in Fighter in the Wind.
Rad ki was made up by adolescents. I do not know who created trad ki but it was not made by adolescents. your an ass dude, Im not being a little bitch you are, your past the level of a bitch. Your beyond Bitch! If im easting my time with ki and psi, then your wasting time to prove frauds, and all **** like that! -theoutsider

Kick boxing is ok, but don't expect do beat a man like Rickson Gracie with that. You need a real martial art. You need Xing Yi Quan. -Emptyflower

The splits, how ever, have a few martial uses. Doing the splits for me, can put my fists in testical strike range.

dont ignore the Art for the Martial or else your just kick boxing

Yes i am serious, there are kicks that can block punches. we have them in Moo duk kwan.
I want to learn how to use them in case my arm gets broken in a fight.
what would you have me do? if my arm gets broke, not block punches? -sempi-stone

Cool :) You can also send an email to ziritrion at gmail dot com . I look forward to bash you with my shinai clubbing-jutsu :D .

If you can't make up your mind about accomodation, I can ask around for good residences, although I don't know anyone at ESADE, but maybe I can link to someone via my acquaintance network (a secret army of ninja who provides me with vital information for my goal: to take over the world! Mwahahahaha!!!)

Thanks bro. I'll email you if I need you to ask for accomodation. As it stands, by sheer luck, my friend on exchange in USC is living it up with 2 other exchange students who are from ESADE! So, he's asking them for me.

PLUS, according to them, one of the hottest girls from their uni is on exchange at mine at the moment. So, I'm also planning to ask her for help.
