    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Target Selling martial arts stuff.

You will not believe this, I just got a spam from "Target store", they offer to sell martial arts equipment. I have no idea how they got a hold of me. But the fact that they are cashing it, makes me feel uneasy. Soon McDonalds will be selling mixed martial arts gloves. If they are not already.
Just expressive my self, no point.

Prolly cause upon joining a TKD dojo you get signed up for MA spam lists. Just a theory.

Demographics; everyone is buying mailing lists these days. Next time you compete in a MA tournament, ask the promoter if they market their mailing list or competitor listings.

Could also be a sign that MMA is becoming more mainstream, enough so that it is profitable to offer it in a Mega-mart.

Although from my experience, when something as good as mma is discovered by the masses...bad things happen.

The shitty gloves at mega stores are the ones with bars in them. Essentially, they are bag gloves. But bag gloves look like boxing gloves, which are uncool and brutish.

Whereas MMA gloves are sleek and stylish. Perfect for hitting your Wavemaster.

That's what I did. Then they make ok bag gloves. I don't know if those are legal in a real MMA match, though. If so, then yeah, those are ok.

Still, it's not worth the cash if you're not actually going to use them. They costed me like $50*.

*I bought them through the school... right before class... I thought they'd be cheaper... live and learn. :(

I got mine for $25 working at Big5. I was allowed to use them at SoCal pankration.
