Honestly, even though a whey protein based weight gainer mixed with water has more protein, it is much more convenient to just put milk in a 32 oz bottle and drink it. Milk is also not as filling as a weight gainer. I would not recommend increasing your milk intake significantly in one day. If you do, you will get diarrhea because your body is not used to all of the lactose. Instead, increase the milk intake gradually.

Then there's the school of thought of kidney stones resulting from a dietary deficiency of calcium, which results in leaching calcium from one's bones.

Whole milk from grass fed cows is a gift from the gods.

Notice how the Olympian gods always drank wine and stuff, but never milk.

Or maybe dairy isn't a huge part of Mediterranean diets...

So is it any coincidence that Rome and Greece were advanced and totally badass while everyone else was stupid as ****? Or why the Renaissance started in Italy? Clearly drinking milk makes you backwards and impovershed.
Actually, milk would have figured into a plebian Roman's diet.

Organic Valley makes a 1% lactose free milk.
I switched over to that, and now I don't have to worry about cramps and gas from the lactose (I only have problems when I have more than 2 glasses at a time). Not to mention my gf is lactose intolerant, and this means we get to have cereal together without her getting the bad shits.
