Shaolin vs. TKD :Outcome undetermined again!

I really like the flow of the sho fighter. He didn't even seem to take the tkd fighter serious. It did appear that the tkd fighter was caught with a spinning back kick, but there was no damage in that kick. And he must have very tough hands to keep catching those kicks like that, so I guess his training has paidoff more than he is showing on this vid.

I really liked those palm blocks on the taekwondo's kicks, if only the worked against strong kicks. I'm thinking it was staged.

Maybe it was just my media player but the Kung Fu guy had a MASSIVE glow on him, must have been his chi showing up on camera!

Hm, why in the world did the TKD guy try to use a front-leg rounhouse to the same area like 5 times in a row at the beginning of the match? Kick...pause...kick....pause....etc. And maybe its just me, but I didn't even see a sidekick thrown once.

That was completely staged. They're obviously not even trying to hit eachother, there are several instances where they are about to hit the other and they'll actually pull techniques.

Someone posted this on myspace as proof of kung fu being badass and I went through and did move by move breakdown. It's very obviously faked when you look at it.

when neither "fighter" is able to land a single blow on the other, it's obviously going to have been choreographed.

I saw this awhile ago. Someone on another forum used it as evidence that Shaolin Monks fight other styles. Which was hilarious because previously he said a MMA match was not a FIGHT but this was!?!?!?!?! The counter now is that a Shaolin monk entered a fight in HK this fall and got KOed quickly.

Anyways this is a SHOW match where neither is really trying to hurt each other but show the BEAUTY of their styles. It is a common thing on Asian tv but since the growing popularity of MMA they are showing up less and less.

I'm pretty sure also that the alleged shoalin fighter was just another TKD guy, and him and his pals were puttin on a little show.

Very old clip. Saw it like a yr ago. It looks more like a demo than anything and well they probably wouldn't realy go at it because if Korea won well China would be over there in a flash and itd be occupation time again.
