thankz for the help guyz. When i get the money im going to start taking a MT class that is offered at my gym. Im a big fan of Thai boxing and im sure this will help with my punching problem lolz.

The guy threw one punch and missed then i caught him and the fight was over. It was to quick for me to take him to the ground otherwise i probably would have. He did have friends with him also, but i found out afterwards they were all chumps. When i threw the punches i "thought" i was throwing hooks, lolz i know they weren't pretty tho. but hey whatever works.

If you are serious about strengthening your hands you may want to try conditioning them.
    Knuckle push-ups
    Bag work with no gloves
    Sandbagging
    etc.

or working on body shots, which is kind of a lot safer and the training won't lead to horribly arthritic hands. Take a boxing class.

You'll like muay thai. Be ready for some raw shins, though.

Except do the bag work with wrist wrap gloves and take the bar out.

with a wide hooking punch, A person pulling away from you will cause you to hitt with the last two fingers. A person coming into you will cause you to hit with the thumb or inside of your hand. common injurys when learning, or hitting something solid like a head, for the first time without gloves.

As someone said above, work on the tighter Jab, cross, and a proper hook, do some bag work, figure out your timeing. Then when the wailing and whirl wind starts, as Yrkoon9 mentions, atleast the structure will be closer to you not hurting your hand....

Actually the opposite, in boxing, just like any striking oriented MA, you are taught to "aim small, miss small".
Aim at a small target keeps the strikes tight and clean.
