Sprawl shorts are worth the money. They are light, fit your body, but aren't tight like board shorts. And they don't rip. I've never tried any other shorts (I don't need more than 1 pair for now), but these are definately worth it.

i wash my gi as soon as i get home so it doesn't stink, if i get blood on it, it washes right out, so i don't have any blood stains despite having gotten blood on me quite a bit. so to me blood stains just look like you didn't wash the gi.

You're supposed to wash those things?

The collar has a rubber inside to make it more firm, but the same clothy goodness outside as the rest of the gi. My Koral has it too.Locu5

Do you grapple in it? (I don't know if they grapple in JKDC with Gis and not in MMA)
I mean, if it's one of those krotty gi's that you never smother anybody with, then it's fine I suppose. But if you grapple in it, then that's just nasty. =/

No, not really. The rubber is there for hygenic and longevity purposes. I will say that Gameness gi's do have a thick collar but I have seen thicker.
BTW - I am a cheating bastard myself, and if I could get ahold of one of the old Ouano gi's with the big ass impossible to grip collars I would.
