Yeah, but as we all know Pride is the big leagues where that **** is allowed to fly, and should. UFC is kind of like the minors......
I'll just let that float for a little bit.

The dumbest thing you can do: Call out the toughest guy on the other team. WTG! Get your asskicked like a redheaded stepchild, get injured, AND end your career with this brilliant decision.

I think Dana White's motivation is alittle darker than team strategy. I think he wants the best fighters for the Spike UFCs. I mean the way they are doing it there will be a good fighter and a Shitty one left for the finals in each class. This is what Dana wants to avoid. He needs another Bonner- Griffin fight.

I don't see why that is a "darker" motivation. The entire purpose of the series (besides getting publicity) is to evaluate and train people with UFC potential. How is that supposed to happen when they get their ass kicked in episode 4?There are no wrong threats, only wrong answers. (Strategy game truism)

Marcus is retarded. I just don't understand his thought process. He made that decision like he wasn't aware of history of strikers versus grapplers in the UFC. You know when the bjj black belt considers Joe the toughest ground guy in the house you might want to respect his ground game. It seems you need at least some intelligence to succeed in the ring. Marcus was obviously an outstanding boxer but a poor MMAist and stupid for choosing to fight Joe.

When someone is picking you up why does no one drop their weight? It would of been a much better situation if someone going to pick you up and you just drop to the ground, to your knees.
I never understood why people don't do this. He wasn't stupid for picking joe, he is a fighter and wanted to see if he could win. No harm in that.
All I got to say is that Joe was doing illegal elbows not only with the tip of his elbow but also to the guys temple and to the back of his head.
Should of stood them up, Marcus should of waited longer and should of pressured Joe when he had his back to the cage, not in the middle of the ring. Bad calls all around.
Anyone else notice that Joe has like really puffy nipples? Looks weird to me.I'll make one when I can find one I like.

Using that experience from your dozens of professional MMA fights and countless underground vale tudo matches, right?

I wish they hadn't edited out the discussions that revealed Marcus' thought process in choosing Joe. I can think of several reasons he might have made that decision, but I'd love to know what his actually were.
Is it just me, or is anyone else becoming very bored with this show? I enjoyed season I, maybe because it was a novelty, but I think season II sucks so far.
I do like matt Hughes though. Fucking with Jorge is classic.
