It takes that many words in Japanese to say "Don't **** with Kimura"?

Anyway, Musashi I wasn't mocking you, I simply disagree. I think Rickson would clinch with Silva where Silva would hurt him, badly. Then Rickson would pull guard where Silva would hurt him, badly. Then Rickson would squirm and try to reverse and Silva would stand up and hurt Rickson, badly. Finally I think Silva would either beat Rickson so badly Royler would throw in the towel or he'd win a decision, depending on how long the time limit was.

Actually, it's the famous quote "Before Kimura, no Kimura. After Kimura, no Kimura." but whenever people have me translate Japanese for them (they act like I'm such a cunning linguist after 1 year of it in high school) I try to give them the most colorful interpretation possible.

Rickson would have annihilated Kimura, he was much stronger than Helio and at least as skilled.

Kimura was a great judo player but these type of comparisons are about as something like Superman and The x-men vs. godzilla and mothra. I disagree with you on the Silva/Rickson fight though Choke. I think that Rickson would be able to get the side clinch where knees and elbows can't hurt him. If it went to guard, then I think Rickson would put Silva on his butt just like he did with Funaki. But Silva could definitely win if things went his way. I just wouldn't bet on it.

Silva would know what Rickson was going to do (what he always does) and stop him, Silva is stronger and is an all-around fighter, Rickson is not.

The problem is that Silva is a jack of all trades but a master of none. That crap may fly against a lesser man but against Rickson it would only result in getting his ass handed to him.

No, Silva is a master of striking in MMA, in addition he is not bad at grappling.

On the other hand Rickson is a master at grappling but a pitiful striker, he brings less to the table.

Unfortunately I Choke You I dount we will ever get to see this question resolved. Also, I think Silva is a good striker, but by no means a master of striking. I think we have yet to see a master striker in MMA. I consider a master striker someone like Muhammed Ali. Not that they are a boxer but someone who exhibits such total skill in what they do. That they understand it to the very core. That is a master in my mind. I think Rickson is that. I don't silva is. But until they fight who can ever know.
By the way there is going to be a BJJ tournament in vancouver in october sometime. Are you planning on going or do you only compete no gi?
