Maverick, you're right. Koryo has the front stances, Tae Bek has the crazy dumb double punch over the head thing. But they both have front stances, koryo just has the kicks.

You guys should try it out and see how you fare.

well, i know both of them have front stances, hell what form doesn't. i just don't remember which technique in koryo resembles an ankle pick. haven't done a form in... oh... 6 months.

and umm... no, i don't think i will try that, but thanks for the offer.

Yeah, Koryo has an ankle pick, but then a knee break.

IIRC it's the 8th movement in the form. Left leg out in front stance and right arm catches the ankle, and left palm strike to the knee.

I ahve done this, though with a different set of forms. The only reason it worked was because I did it on someone with a great sense of humor and no focus; as soon as I dropped into a side facing horse stance it was all over.

    I hate Karate Kid III.

2 was the greatest movie ever made.

hmm, i'm fairly certain that the 8th movement is a side kick. or a chop to the neck. depending on whether you could the double sidekicks as one technique or two.

At my school, we count movements according to how many times your legs have changed position.
