**** they were the worst. So compartmentalized it was ridiculous. One guy had nerve enough to correct me right before I quit teaching.

They feel they are so much smarter than us,that they can't fall for bullshit. Yet, there they sit eating it all up.

    1. When I first entered the SLD dojo in Johnson City TN, I met Master Mullins, who, by most accounts, seems like an ok guy. I was curious about iron plam & dit da jow and had a few questions for him. When he explaned to me that the concept of differant levels of conditioning was false, according to this style, he also said they only used 1 formula of Jow for all forms of impact conditioning. With this formula, he explaned, GM Te had conditioned his hands and developed sufficient chi to punch through SIX (6) free standing 8 foot 2x4s, stacked back to back . OK, you guys do the math. That is, stand (6) 2x4s back to back on their ends, and punch through them. Maybe true, but I'm no expert, C'mon...anybody seen this?
    2. Also, GM Te is an expert at "poison hand", supposedly??? Maybe I totally misunderstood G. Mullins, but I seem to recall him saying GM Sin, would no longer engage in a fight with anyone, he was above that, he would simply use a little gelled poison he kept in little pouches on his obi, get it under his fingernails (painted even) and scratch at 'yer soul!
Sorry, couldn't help that last part, I mean, I thought only Spetznatz guys did the poison hand?

Anybody else heard any of this, or did I hallucinate the whole thing?
    Paragraphs please.

I have two bottles of different Jow made from a recipe provided by GMT. So, I know from experience there are two Jows.

No supposedly he is a Master of Golden Snake and Monkey.

    Ie was Iron Palm something.

Poison hand was basically for hermits according to GMT.

    If it is this book,

you really need to get some better reading material.

I'll find the thread on Kung fu forums online.

They traced that back to a geek. Now, how the hell did some Americans end up with the last true remnants of Shaolin?

It had no idea about the author. It didn't say it was bullshit on the cover. I bought the book to compare histories of SD with other Shaolin histories. What reading material would you suggest?

I thought maybe a chinese guy ended up in america.....shaolin can travel by airplane, and boat.

One doesn't use principles from Newtonian Physics...he and others just described how motion functions, how bodies interact. F=ma wasn't invented by Newton, he just sorted out the math. No one can help manifesting the laws of motion.

I didn't know there was a posibility that Taoist could/do understand quantum mechanics, but I'm certainly intrigued.

I think it is religionist to assume one faith is incapable of understanding certain scientific concepts. What is this 1614?

They came from this site http://www.geocities.com/parker-duva...photoalbum.pdf

    Some Videos too http://www.geocities.com/parker-duvall/vlibrary.html

    Site is just http://www.geocities.com/parker-duvall/index.html
Cement blocks are WAY easier to break than 2x4s used in construction so seeing pictures like that doesn't really prove anything about the 2x4 claim. I have NEVER seen a picture or video of anyone (breaker, sin the or otherwise) breaking a real 2x4 with a punch/chop, let alone several.
