OMEGA's AN IDIOT!!!
So I'm in Vegas this weekend and I'm cruising through Cesars shopping area. Coffee hasn't kicked in yet and I'm all scattered when James Irvin walks on by. I'm like "****, why should I know that guy?"
So I run after him "dude, you're a ufc fighter aren't you" (now I feel like a total shmoe)
James "yeah, I fought this week" (well it was last week but who wants to argue?)
"beautiful KO dude, I'm sorry I forgot your name"
"yeah..blah blah blah"
Damn I suck.... :dontknow: :profe: :spanky:

Yes you do ^_^
I never see famous people, something I blame on my location and the fact that I can't identify a person's face untill they're within 5 feet of me.

Don't sweat it. I wouldn't be able to recognize ANYBODY I see on TV or anything like that. I just don't have good face memory.

Okay yeah, I asked for his autograph too. But I know that makes the fighters feel cool.

- hmm... it's awful dark in here
The only celebrity I've ever seen in public was the pro wrestler Sid Vicious when I was at the Chicago airport about ten years ago. And the only reason I noticed him is cause he's 7 feet tall, hugely muscular, and had bleach-blonde hair. Sort of stood out.
That, and a well-known (in Boston) news anchor almost hit me with her car one time.

I think the only local celebrity I ever met was our local weatherman. He came into the store I was working in, checking out some TVs briefly. We asked him what the forecast was for tommorow.

By the thread title, I was hoping for a poll.Who, for Petes sake! Is opposing science? In fact, we want MORE science by CRITICALLY ANALIZING the evidence-Connie Morris, Kansas State BOE (bolding and underlining part of original quote, red is my emphasis)
As long as you try to treat your subjective experiences as if they were objective experiences, you will continue to be confounded by people who disagree with you.-some guy on an internet messageboard

Last summer I was working at the FNAC in Madrid (for those of you who donīt know what the FNAC is, itīs a mall chain specialized in technology, comics, books, music and films, itīs kinda trendy and cool), and we happened to see famous people almost everyday there. From actors to musicians and such.
It was kinda weird.
Too bad I wasnīt able to see Avril Lavigne when she came to promote her album there.
