Is Ron Collins legit?

I re-read the article. It methodically takes apart Ron's military and martial arts claims. Feel the burn.

More small town conspiracy drama goodness. Bullshido gets thrown into the mix at around 24:20.

I made it into the earlier video in Sam's company early on. I'm a somebody now.

Ron, if you wanted your side of the story to be given here you would've logged on & posted it yourself like a big boy. Instead you had your flunky from Ashida Kim's forum beg Sam to give you a back-channel audience. Your being afraid to post your side & face questions implies more about you than anyone else. I don't blame you, though. We've seen how your stories fared in the open under questioning elsewhere.

I'll be perfectly honest: I gave up "muckraking" style journalism after readers who commented on some of my articles got death threats from the subjects of those articles. I sat down and asked myself if the benefit of writing that type of expose was worth the trouble it caused, and decided that, no, it wasn't.

A couple of different versions of my article on Ron Collins have been on the web. I took down the one I posted and I asked to have the second version removed, which it was. In both cases I did this because I honestly did not want to deal with Collins and his crowd of sociopaths anymore. I was very careful when I wrote those articles not to say anything that wasn't true, because of course nobody wants to get sued.

Unfortunately, removing those articles in the hope that Ron would just go away and do his own thing... didn't help. After he spent the summer in jail he started posting his crazy conspiracy videos and including me in the tags even when I wasn't mentioned -- and that's when his little disciple, Johnny "Ronin7411" Hunter, wasn't creating video accounts with my name and zip code at places like DailyMotion and YouTube, in an attempt to impersonate me and falsely implicate me in their bizarre theories. I've had to threaten to sue Hunter multiple times -- and I've finally retained a law firm, one that specializes in Internet defamation cases, to do it.

As we've seen, Ron has curious definitions of both "lies" (any expression of opinion he doesn't like) and "proof" (any claim he makes to the contrary). Frankly, I'm goddamned sick of his constant threats and creepy, wild-eyed bullshit.

Counselor, this is a fantastic article, despite a couple of references to Bullshido as a "troll" site. I wonder, might the author and our site admins be interested in having it housed on Bullshido since The Martialist seems no longer to have it available on their site?

D'oh! It just registered, Sharp Phil, who was who. Of course I wouldn't want you to do anything that would take your difficulties with these folks to a new level. Great article, though, and it's a shame that it isn't readily available on the Web.

The irony is that whether the article is live or not makes no difference in whether I get grief from these psychopaths.

Several members here expressed shock and outrage at the thought of anything written by me appearing on the site, back when I wrote the first version. I think the consensus was that the truth of the article paled in comparison to the fact that I wrote it.

I've found out that Ron is scheduled for a bench trial in the Raleigh County Circuit Court before Judge John Hutchins on 2 counts of possessing Child Pornography on July 23, 2013.

I've also read Ron's facebook entry where he complains about a hearing being turned into a trial without a jury.

Note to Ron. In the United States, when you are being tried for a felony, you have the right to a jury trial. You must waive this right on the record, or in writing to receive a bench trial. (Judge determines guilt) Please talk to your lawyer to confirm this basic fact.

Ron's also yelling that's this judge's daughter has a criminal conviction for stealing pills while she worked as a police evidence tech. How this disqualifies this particular judge when his daughter was not working on the evidence in Ron's case, I do not know. But I'm sure we'll hear more as this goes to trial.

I do not practice law in West Viginia, but if Ron actually wants a jury trial, his attorney should be be filing motion(s) with the court on this issue PRIOR to trial.
