What the hell are you talking about, the green ranger was the ****. He kicked all the toher rangers asses until he pussied out and went all "good" and "moral". On the same note when he was evil he was in love with a woman in a cone bra with spointed braids, so you may have a point.

    But onto more important matters.

The Green Ranger has a listing of his style and credentials. Here it tells us that he teaches the double nunchukus, the bo staff and the samurai sword....

I'm almost positive we already had a thread about the Green Ranger . . . maybe I will dig it up later today when I am not feeling so lazy.

Well, he responded to my initial inquiry:

"If you read my Bio carefully it tells the full history of my Instructors its under the our master
page, but I will list them below:

Grandmaster / Shodia Soke 10th Dan - Christian Sokeship Federation and United Sates Martial Arts Assocation O'sensei Philip Porter and others

    2) Tae Kwon Do Master 5th Dan and 5th Dan Praying Mantis Kung Fu - Grandmaster Kang Rhee Memphis, Tennessee

    3) Judo, Jujitsu, Aikido - USMA O'sensie Philip Porter

    4) Isshinryu Karate - Master Richard Hedrick Jr. Indianapolis, Indiana

    5) Aiki-Jutitsu - Soke Siegfried Boedeker - Germany

Some initial google searches turned up this:

    O' Sensei Philip Porter: http://www.mararts.org/biography/porter.shtml

    Master Richard Hendrick: nothing

    Soke Siegfried Boedeker: http://www.ajjif.org/AJJIFblackbelts.htm

    Kang Rhee: http://www.kangrhee.com/index.html

Porter's biography (after a casual perusal) looks pretty legit, and includes names places/names/dates for his rank promotions.

I'm not planning on doing anything in depth. At least the guy answered my initial e-mail ,which is more than I expected. I still wonder how much 'mat time' Blanton spent/spends in all his acclaimed arts. And I saw nothing on Kang rhee's site about Praying Mantis kung-fu.

Garbanzo, possibly, I only brought it up because it was semi relevent to the thread. And I had a random desire to look the guy up once it was posted.

Kang Rhee incorporates Karate, TaeKwonDo and Kung-Fu to create PaSaRyu which is appropriate for all body styles and structures. The physical workout strengthens and elongates the musculature as coordination enhances manual dexterity. Opening the mind and body to new experiences improves attitude, increases concentration skills, and develops leadership ability.

I can't find anything in Rhee's bio though stating explicitly were he trained Mantis Kung Fu.

You mean my 10th degree black belt in Wang-fu jitsu isn't legit??
I guess I should focus more on my Fist of the North Star jutsu.

Anyways, we should pit Grandmaster (giggle) Blanton's 10th degree in Mang-ho-do-jitsu agasint Jason David Frank's 10th degree White Ranger style.

    I wanna see mega-zords people!
