A while back, I got a great clip of Pe de Pano competing in a gi match that showed him playing his guard really well. Later, subfighter.com put out the same clip but ran it through a ye olde sepia tone filter, nü rocked it up by setting it to Tool, added their watermark and, worst of all, cut off that last minute, removing the second of the two sweeps PDP does. Despite making the video totally retarded, their clip was the only version I could find on youtube and Google Videos.
Long story a little bit shorter, thanks to me you can now get the original, non-retarded video here:

Thanks, I was wondering in that other thread where the 2nd sweep was.
What was the score for that match?
Did the blue player get any points after he was swept the first time?

i don't know if that last sweep was a cross guard sweep cause he has both hands controlling the legs and no cross grip on the arm. cool stuff though. never heard of this guard till now and i will try it in the morning at the academy. thanks

I've been working a lot using that type of "guard", controling one leg and one arm and trying to sweep people to the next dimension...it's incredible how many people get sweep like that. And it's easy to use as the crapper...
