You have a good stance Anna... chin tucked hands up
try using more head movement and a broken rythym
you had a good jab too
honestly I'm quite impressed
most women I see who train aren't as well composed
but then again I've yet to meet a women who REALLY trains
I just met one
...and what the **** is that music in the background??!
It's posilutley daft!Secret moves such as hitting a thing with your hand and hitting a thing with your leg have been stolen and degenerated by arts like karate, boxing, muay-thai, Kung-fu, and basketball. -Epicurious
I for one welcome our new Ninja overlords.
I figure fighting a group of chunners would be like water torture, its not the force as such, just the constant trickle of chain punches wearing down your sanity. -The Juggernoob

You should have pressed your advantage more when he kept opening up his back to you. Give him a shot in the back or in the back of the head. Actually, I don't know if that's allowed, but, hell, I'd have taken it. Also, he drops his guard A LOT. Obviously, the kicks weren't phasing you. Get in close, take a few of those, and do a 1-1-2 or 1-2-3-2 combo to his face.
You obviously had the stamina to outlast him. You'd have run him down eventually.
I will give him props for going out to spar, but seriously... when you get beaten by two girls (especially much younger girls; well, I don't know you're younger, but you certainly look it), it's time to think about gender reassignment surgery.--

Ok, next video
This is Kidspatula and I sparring at our gym.
This is much more representative of our usual sparring, i think sparring outside tends to make one slightly sloppier.
(And I dont want to hear that ring vs street crap, we're both training specifically to fight in the ring, I carry a gun for self defense, thanks :P )

Nice of you to post vids. Isshin-ryu guy tended to drop his left hand a little too much, but I have no experience in that style so eh. What were the rules?

when it was anna vs isshin ryu guy (scotty) it was standard MMA rules I guess, and for me vs. scotty it was muay thai rules

he didn't seem very enthusiastic... his hands were down, he kept turning away whenever he was getting hit. when people do that you can really line em up for a big shot.

My girlfriend enjoyed the vids. Something about watching girls kick ass makes happy. And violent.--
