The correct point of impact in the windmill technique is to strike with the pinky and pinky knuckle. The reverse windmill, illustrated by Keith Hackney on Emanuelle Yarborough is to strike with the top of the hand using the pointer finger knuckle. This usually occurs once you have broken your hand from either the 1)overhand bitch slap, or 2)crazy windmill as it did with Keith.
If you want to see where this technique developed you can look at primates. They all use this clubbing downward striking attack. Millions of years of practice, refinement, and use here guys. Don't write it off. It works.
It has been modified somewhat over the years but always look for the telltale signs of true primate windmilling. The KO strike from Harold Howard on that kickboxer was not the 2-knuckle strike right hand. No. This simply knocked him down. The KO was from the slamming downward hammerfist style single windmill attack. The Shogun/Arona hammerfist. There are many examples out there. You just have to believe in it. -
It's pretty beat up, but it is a complete copy....

True, small children also can be seen doing this wind mill effect, sometimes even trying to scratch too. Very much a primitive evolved trait.
But you see, Chain Punching is a refined economy of motion effect, of this very primal skill..... :pottytrai

I've seen the video of that fight. Very sad. I think anyone learning from these styles of WC should take note just how well the best exponents of their style do in a fight. :f-off:

I'd love to have seen Emin try that on a good MMA fighter.Last edited by I aint punchy!?; 9/01/2005 8:14pm at .
