What would be _really_ good for Wing Chun is if these WC guys didn't just add BJJ groundfighting skills to their game, but took note of BJJ's training methods and applied them to Wing Chun. I think you could make something really interesting out of Wing Chun in the same manner Kano made something interesting from JJJ.

How about you come to the next thing I do on your side of the pond? Bring your Sifu with you. I'll provide you with some written proof of who & what I am and then I'll put the question to both of you ... at the same time. Yum cha or gong sau ... no one ever has to ask twice.

The "right" way would have been for jay to state that he did Bai Shi with his WC Sifu 12 years ago ... then it's an open ticket ... Todai are given allowances that outside the door students are not given.

How one is taught tends to be completely different. Not at all uncommon for a Sifu to load up one of his Todai heavy for a year or a few years and then send them "outside" to wander - test - discover for a few years. In some lines it's SOP.

I'm not posting the pro boxing outs. John

BTW... hmmm sticks and stones and all that... but as I have repeatedly said... it aint me making the claims... sure you could whip my arse and then we could all go for some dim sum but the point is still valid that you inferred a claim on a public board... not I said the fly...

I agree with that... he should have posted it as you say... but to give him more "respectability" he "may have" stretched the "truth" a little... interesting info re the todai but... cheers...
