yeah im not really seeing your point here. I think we all know the point Meex was trying to make, and I was being the pedantic harry by pointing out that while most TMA schools do spar using a kickboxing format its a slap in the face to call it actual kickboxing/boxing. notice I said most. you can take that as YOUR MASTER SUCKS **** OMEGA OMG IM GONNA BREAK HIS SIGN

but i think you know me better than that. nice record too btw. but what happened with the one fight that you lost, if you dont mind me asking?

I ran into Marvin Perry. Google him and you'll know what I mean. On the cool side, I ko'ed Eugene Jackson before anybody else did. I get to say "ha ha, I was the first!" of course he broke my jaw and rib but I still won.

Why? Is Kickboxing some term reserved for TMA only?

Most people forget that kickboxing actually started in TMA. For some reason they think it started in a place called Thailand. I keep telling them ohhh! You me that TMA called muay thai.

Seriously though kickboxing is an American 'coined' art that originated when the TKD and Karate guys decide to throw on boxing gloves for 'full contact' karate. Because of the boxing gloves some started calling it boxing with kicks and therefore kickboxing.

    Okay back to regular discussion.
