I see this kind of thing all the time. I get students walking into my school who already signed up with another school in some long term "don't even think about getting out of it" contract. The worst case I've seen so har was a young man who had his contract in hand. He was only 1 month into a 3 year contract at a school he realized he didn't want to go to. The contract price was for over 4k! Unfortunately these schools are as common as McDonald's around here.

It sucks knowing you are now out $1500. But look at it from the positive side...... they won't get another $1500 of your money. Now that you are more aware you can take the time to pick out a quality school.

If you want to pursue it, try to get a lawyer to take a look at the contract to see what your options are.

If that fails (or even if it doesn't) try to get the word out that this place is crap- tell everyone you know, tell the local news, tell the local newspapers, put up signs around town, spray paint it on the side of their building, go train somewhere else for a few years, then go back and leave a trail of unconscious bodies in your wake, etc.
