'How to win in hand-to-hand fighting'

    http://www.vrazvedka.ru/main/learnin...bairn-01.shtml

This guide 'Get Tough' claims that it is taught to the British and U.S. armed forces. I like this part,
They owe something to the famous Japanese judo (jiu-jutso).

They are yet another group marking Fairbairn's material. Fairbairn was the real deal, and yes he did indeed teach US and British troops. RBSD guys worhsip Fairbairn as a God but fail to go through the things he did to deserve respect.

You can't practice Judo just to win a Judo Match! You practice so that no matter what happens, you can win using Judo!
The key to fighting two men at once is to be much tougher than both of them.

As my stepfather said to me "I've been in LOTS of streetfights, and the thing I can tell you is to GET IN FIRST!"

I took this advice to heart when I broke his nose
    What am I?:

I am ignorant, thieving, lying, hypocrital, violent and thoroughly self obssessed. I steal from others to make myself look better, only to make the item or information worse.

I go on and on and ON about how brave and strong and brilliant and wealthy I am, but in the end I'm all mouth and no trousers.

That's right children, I'm your average AMERICUNT! and I exemplify AMERICA!:911flag:

Yes, through persistent lack of work and the cultivation of ignorance, he is a true American.

Hah, I remember a while back when I went to my first BJJ tournament, my dad told me "Just remember, NEVER let yourself get hit." I was like "...this is grappling..." and then he said "Oh...then I don't have any advice for you."

I like the "bronco kick" in the article, which is basically a double foot stomp on an already fallen person that looks like a little kid throwing a tantrum... IMPOSSIBLE TO PARRY!! OH NOES!

Fairbairn was indeed the real deal. A second dan from the Kodokan. Kano signed his certificate himself. Get tough is a good book for a specific situation.

    LOL.

Your organization's Internet use policy restricts access to this web page at this time.

    Reason:
The Websense category "Militancy and Extremist" is filtered.

The site claims that "some of these moves will shock you!" but I found myself bored and yawning for some reason...

Get Tough is actually a classic historical work. It would be a mistake, though, to assume that it's the end all be all to self defense/hand to hand fighting.
