Mythbusters

While watching Mythbusters tonight, I got the idea that we could give them Bullshido myths to test.

I figure if we get enough people to come on and support the idea, we might have a chance at finally "busting" some Bullshido myths. You can go onto their message board and post suggestions for myths in need of bustification.

mythbusters is a great show. gotta love that kari girl... any ways

what do you mean by bullshido myths? dim mak? ki blasts? i dont think they could really test those type of things.

this thread reminds me of that penn and teller thread from a little while back.

I love Mythbusters.

Not sure how far behind the US we are in showing the episodes (have they all actually died of old age now ? ) but this weeks episode was testing 'chinese water torture'.

And she actually snapped and broke down. Weird, especially since they pointed out its not a very good test since the whole point of it is you can't get up and leave when it gets to you.

Penn and Teller would more than likely be a better candidate. Myhtbusters deal with popular myths, I can't think of one popular Martial Arts myth to the normal person.

Well, technically we could convince misinformed yet-otherwise rational people about them. Do we really want to convince the whackos? No. If we do, what purpose will this site have? How would you amuse yourself?

there are just too many factors to make a conclusion about these type of things.

maybe the yellow bamboo master's ki just wasn't strong enough. maybe the guy he was blasting had incredibly strong ki. its not like you can build a gigantic chicken cannon to test ki.

i do think that new guy (cant recall his name) is annoying, and pointless.
the blond girl (i think her name is scotty?) is there for her mechanical abilities. and kari is just damn hot. i would prefer seeing her get in a bikini and painted gold, over adam or jamie.
