    Professor,

The evolution of the SBG from a JKDC oriented program to a MMA program is interesting. I had heard of the SBG when they first started and figured they were just another Bruce Lee fan club. I avoided their stuff like the plague.

Then I met and became friends with Luis Gutierrez who is now the VP of SBGi. He showed me that there was a lot more to their training. After several years of training BJJ with him, he asked me if I would like to start an Affiliated Training Group. The first thing I said was. " but I have never done JKD or JKDC". He just laughed and told me that I didn't need to know that stuff.

I tell people that I run an ATG and they still think that I teach wing chun trapping in front of a BL Enter the Dragon poster, wearing a yellow track suit. Kudos to you Professor. You said it but I was thinking it.

Tell Adam, Rory and Alex hi. Look me up at Fall Camp in SoFlo.

    Nice warm welcome guys.

It's more correct to italicize or underline the names of published works.

Underlining is really only appropriate when using a typewriter (italics are not available on those). And here, quotation marks are a lot more convenient than entering the code for italics (which I still haven't bothered to get the hang of). I do *this* a lot for emphasis. I grew up on a message board that had absolutely no frills at all.

an underscore is often used for this purpose e.g. _The Art of War_

I never knew the original straight blast had a rolling punch. That is pretty crazy.
