    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    sacramento bjj

I currently live in Sacramento and after experiencing some real bullshido athttp://www.easternways.com/, I'm ready to move on and I hope to study some BJJ.

I am looking at two schools:

the first school is taught by a student of Rickson Gracie, heres the link: http://www.dgweb.com/~sacbjj/index2.htm

the second is a school of Cassio Werneck: http://werneckjiujitsu.com/index.htm

Which school do you think would be best to study at, if anyone has any experiences at these schools please post your experiences

I have met and trained with Cassio. Great guy and his BJJ is off the chart. They don't just give away Mundial medals. I'd train with him.

You can't go wrong either way, IMO. I'd prolly go with whoever is cheaper.

    A few things:

First of all, out of the links provided Cassio is hands down the BEST you linked. Go take his class TONIGHT.

Second, although a close second - I am always leery about the whole, Be carefull about BJJ and only train under a certified Gracie JJ instructor... Which that Rickson representative espouses.

Third, if I recall correctly the Camarillo brothers are out of Sacramento. Probably under Camarillo Jiu Jitsu. Definately check them out. They are the perfect mix between Judo and BJJ in the next generation.
